Doyle shines on Flynn's Free newcomer A couple of debutants fought out the finish in the four-year-old bumper and David Doyle was seen to good effect aboard the 22/1 winner Windbeneathmywings.  The son of Free Eagle refused to settle and 7lb claimer Doyle allowed him stride on in front from halfway. The pair were pursued by Derek O'Connor's mount The Last Line inside the final quarter-mile but Doyle had kept just enough in reserve for his mount to cling on by a fast-diminishing short head. Pat Flynn, who trains the winner for his wife Catherine, said: “I thought he had a chance today. I love the sire and have a pile of them by the sire as Pat Smullen told me Free Eagle was one of the best horses he’d ridden. He was a reasonable price for my mares and I bought this lad as a yearling for 22,000Euro.  “He did everything to get himself beaten there today. He pulled so hard and when he learns to race he’ll be a real nice horse.  “David said there could be a winners' bumper in this fella.”  Quotes from Alan Magee
