Mooncoin, Co Kilkenny based trainer Eoin Doyle recorded a 155/1 double at Tramore today when his 25/1 outsider Sciatin claimed the Guillemene Maiden Hurdle, adding to the win of his Without The Bop half an hour earlier.
Jockey Shay Barry produced Sciatin with a well timed challenge and was himself completing a double, having been on board Without The Bop earlier.
Afterwards Doyle stated “I bought Sciatin at the horses in training sale at Goffs (for €15,000) last month but wasn't expecting to win today. I've no plans from here but he may go for a winners' race.”
