Dettori confident ahead of Dubai Destination´s Queen Elizabeth 11 Stakes bid.

Frankie Dettori love affair with Ascot can continue next Saturday, when the Italian jockey rides Dubai Destination in the Queen Elizabeth 11 Stakes.

Dettori, whose 'magnificent seven' at the same meeting in 1996 has ensured him legendary status, is now confident Dubai Destination can bring another Group 1 success to the Godolphin stable.

The four year old finishing a lacklustre fifth in the Prix Jacques le Marois at Deauville last month, but Dettori now believes he can recapture his best form: 'He was a very good two year old. Don't forget he beat Rock Of Gibraltar, but then had a year and a half off with an injury and it is a little bit of a miracle that he has come back to such good form.' He added 'I think when he ran at Deauville he wasn't exactly bubbling. You can forget that race. I think you will see a better horse.'

Dettori predicted that the horse will go 'very close' in the Ascot Showpiece, although he is currently available at a best price of 3/1.
