Delightfantastic wins for 'a jockey in the making' Delightfantastic was the well backed winner (morning 8/1, returned 7/2f) of Tipperary's TipperaryRaces.ie Handicap Hurdle today, scoring at the 12th attempt for trainer John Joe Walsh and amateur jockey Harry Swan. The daughter of Yeats was similarly well-supported when finishing third at today's venue last month but today made amends when scoring by 12 lengths, eased-down, from runner-up Listentillitellyea, in a 17-runner race. The trainer's son and assistant Brendan Walsh later said: "She was unlucky the last day when she ran into trouble and Harry gave her a great ride today and she settled in. “We had another horse in the race and said we'd claim from her and Harry had ridden her in bumpers and knew her. She is free, he settled her and he was very good. He is top class and is a jockey in the making.” He added: "We'll talk with the owners and see where we go next — it might be a couple of weeks and she could go to Killarney. Down the line, she'll go chasing.”
