Danny Mullins completes Tipperary treble Jockey Danny Mullins completed a treble at Tipperary, completing the feat in the Ballykisteen Hurdle on the John Ryan trained front-runner Fairyhill Run. The daughter of Mahler held off runner-up Macgiloney in the closing stages to record a third career win, from 26 starts. Ryan later stated “she is a savage mare and any time she was beaten it was my own fault. “My daughter Gillian is a huge part of my team and loves this mare in particular. She is out at 10pm at night giving the horses extra feed and looking after them and also has a high profile job. “She already has black-type and will win one of those good mares chases.” Mullins, who leads in the early stages of the Jockeys Championship with 18 wins, was earlier successful on the Shay Barry trained Smitty Bacall and his uncle Tom Mullins' Tucson Train.
