The George Webb trained Daigreen gained a third win over hurdles when landing the Racing Again On The 26th December Handicap Hurdle at Limerick today, under regular rider Jody McGarvey.
The son of King's Best, gaining his fifth career success having won twice on the flat in the past, stated on gamely in the straight for a length and a quarter win over Pleased As Punch
Webb was on lead-up duties but winning owner Murt Gleeson later commented “I thought the ground might catch us out and he'll have a break now.”
