Curragh and Fairyhouse soft but dry weather on way The ground is soft at the Curragh ahead of their card on Saturday, which features the Group 3 Staffordstown Stud Stakes. Fairyhouse race over jumps on Saturday and it is also soft there at the moment. It is raining today (8-10mm approx) but is set to be mainly dry thereafter. Punchestown race next Tuesday and Wednesday and the going is yielding. Showers are forecast for today and tomorrow (5-6mm approx) but it is set to be mainly dry thereafter. They are using the inside hurdle track on the first circuit only and finishing on the main straight on Tuesday. They are using the winter hurdle and chase tracks on Wednesday. Tramore race next Thursday and it's currently soft, yielding in places. There is rain today (3mm approx) and it's set to be mainly dry thereafter.
