Following on from Swordsman at Killarney earlier, and Wicklow Flyer at the start of this programme, I A Connect (9/4) made it three on the day for Denise Foster in the concluding Follow Kilbeggan On Facebook INH Flat Race.
This was a good effort on the part of the McNeill family owned Jeremy gelding, as off a 319 day break he fought off Willie Mullins' mare, Definite Katie (13/8 favourite), by two and three parts of a length.
They left A Milan To One all of twenty two lengths back in third.
Stable representative Ian Amond said:- “He disappointed last year a few times so thankfully he's got the job done now.
“Jamie felt that maybe he didn't like being crowded so that's why he kept him out where he did. He came up with that idea himself and it worked.
“That's good because compared to his homework he had disappointed last year. Hopefully he can kick on from there.”
