After his win earlier at Wexford with One Night Standard Gavin Cromwell completed an across the card double at Navan courtesy of Global Export under Robert Whearty in the first division of the Troytown Bar Handicap.
Backed from 9/2 into 7/2 joint favourite, Global Export supplemented a course win in a maiden hurdle here in March 2022, to take his career total to 2 wins from 31 starts. He got the job done on this occasion by a length from The Truant
"The long straight suits him and Dollar Value in there probably helped as well, they went a right good gallop," said Cromwell.
"He had a lovely run the last day in Punchestown and I thought coming here if he reproduced that (he would run well).
"It is not coming out of turn either. It is a while since he has won and he has been running consistently well and the handicapper, I suppose rightly, hasn't been dropping him.
"I'd say he will mix and match."
