Pinot Gris brought up an across-the-card double for Gavin Cromwell and a Down Royal brace for jockey Dylan Browne McMonagle.
Cromwell's Snellen took the Listed Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot while Browne McMonagle won the preceding race on Down Royal's card aboard Picture Of A City
Pinot Gris contested the extended 10-furlong handicap and tracked the leaders before making his mover over a furlong from home.
He maintained his progress throughout the final furlong to lead in the closing stages and came in by three-parts of a length to justify 5/1 favouritism. Stormy Jenn (11/2) was the horse caught late on and had to settle for second. She was two-and-a-half-lengths clear of Gracesolution (11/2).
The winning jockey said: "He looked like a big baby the last day, it took all the time in the world to get going.
"Straightforward type, he is improving with his racing.
"Gavin just said to get him out as best I can and get him forward. I didn't see a whole lot of speed in the race and it set up lovely for him.
"He was a bit green at the top of the hill, I just had to help him along but he came good for me in the straight.
"The cheekpieces sharpened him up plenty. I had a bad draw but he was good and he helped me early to get a good position.
"He's a horse that is going to step up in trip and you will see the best of him when he does."
