Hodd's Girl registered consecutive handicap wins at Dundalk today as the Michael Halford trained filly landed the opening Join On Instagram @dundalk_stadium Handicap under jockey Adam Farragher.
The daughter of Zebedee was a course and today's five furlongs distance winner in December and today was produced with a well timed challenge, between horses, to eventually score a length win over Pillar
Afterwards Halford stated “sprinting is different as they have to learn how to sprint. She was always in a hurry but wasn't able to get home.
“She's enjoying this surface here now. We don't do a whole lot with her at home, she doesn't take a lot of work, but you could tell by her that she was in real good form.
“I thought she had improved a little bit and her form was advertised with the runner-up last time winning since. I thought she'd run well.
“When she's in that sort of form you keep them going. She's easy enough to keep ticking away.
“I have her in here next week over six but I'm sure whether we'd bring her back or not. We'll see how she is. There aren't too many opportunities over five but I'll see what's coming up.”
