The Cathy O'Leary trained Conright Boy gained his first career win in the Dark Horse Wine Bar Maiden Hurdle at Down Royal today, winning well under jockey Ger Fox.
The son of Chevalier, unsuccessful in his seven previous outings, raced with the pace and having improved to lead at the second last, stayed on well for a five and a half lengths over Danielle's Journey
Danielle's Journey was subsequently disqualified as her rider Adam Shortt failed to weigh in, leaving Bel Ami De Sivola take the runner-up spot.
