Connell & Heskin double-up with Ballychorus After taking the first with Tiliver Barry Connell and Adrian Heskin doubled-up in the seventh, the Eamonn Sheridan Plant Hire & Ground Works Chase, as Ballychorus completed her hat-trick in convincing fashion. The Mags Mullins trained six-year-old daughter of King's Theatre was successful over fences at Down Royal in May and won her last two over hurdles at Cork and Galway respectively. Back over fences today she was sent off the 6/5 second favourite with Carriganog the 9/10 market leader. Sent straight to the front Ballychorus made all and travelled best away from the third last. She was briefly pushed along after the next and soon stretched clear, keeping on well on the run-in to win by nineteen lengths. Carriganog was eased after the last and he finished second under Barry Geraghty for Aidan O'Brien while Clar Na Mionn was forty-three lengths back in last. Mags Mullins said afterwards: "She has been great for us over the summer, and I'm delighted with her. I wouldn't like to run her on real bottomless winter ground. She is a nice mare and was plucky out." Adrian Heskin, who was recording his eighth winner of the month, added: "She is a mare who could go on to graded company over fences. "She is not short of pace and stays very well. She has her own little way and can be a bit too daring over a fence sometimes but today she was very good." Additional reporting by Alan Magee
