Comer's Scarlet Seymour wins 'Hill' finale at 22/1 The Bluegrass Horse Feeds Handicap (Div II) went to 22/1 chance Scarlet Seymour, who finished best down the outside to beat fancied pair Giorni Felice (10/3) and Adapt to Dan (11/8 fav) by a length and three quarters and a head. Shane Crosse, who missed a winner at the track on Misty Millie yesterday after a fall in the morning, was quickly back in the swing of things here as Luke Comer’s Elusive Pimpernel 5-year-old gained her first win on her twelfth start. Rated 67 initially after a couple of fair runs in maidens, she was successful here off a mark of 50. Jim Gorman, assistant to winning trainer Luke Comer, said: "She's been working very well and been running well but only doubt was the ground but Shane (Crosse) said she handled it very, very well. She had a wide draw and everything against her. “She was fourth in a maiden at Leopardstown early on and she always had a bit of ability. Our horses are running great now and obviously it just suited her today. “We'll whip her out again as quickly as we can.” Additional reporting by Gary Carson
