Luke Comer has enjoyed a good spell on the polytrack at Dundalk in recent weeks highlighted by a 344/1 double with Clueless Hill and Scarlet Seymour last Friday. Bradesco has played a leading role in the resurgence of the Dunboyne-based yard and the four-year-old is fancied to complete a hat-trick in the featured Extra Places Everyday At BetVictor Handicap.
The son of Bashkirov won over course and distance earlier this month and followed up last week when dropped back to a mile and a half.
Comer’s assistant Jim Gorman is expecting another bold show saying: “He’s in great form and hopefully he keeps improving. He’s taking his races very well so we’re very hopeful.
“He’s effective at a mile and a half but two miles is probably his best trip.
“Annecherie was third to him over two miles and she won this week so the form is working out.”
Stablemate Aircraft Carrier who held a three-figure rating on the Flat at one point and beat all bar Cape Gentleman in the Paddy Power Irish Cesarewitch last year, is also in the line-up and set to carry top-weight.
He’s been highly tried this year including when fourth in the Comer Group International Curragh Cup and this certainly represents a drop in class.
“Aircraft Carrier is a good horse but he has a lot of weight. If he puts his best foot forward he’ll run a good race too,” added Gorman. Jake Peter is also a course and distance winner and indicated a return to form here last time, while Belgoprince and Bold Approach are others to consider among the eight strong field.
