Coakley & Doyle on the mark with Annie Annie Irish recorded her second win of the season as she took the second division of Live Music After Racing Handicap. The Liz Doyle trained four-year-old was fourth on her last start at Gowran and she was sent off a 6/1 chance (9/1 in a place this morning) today under Ross Coakley. Settled behind the leaders on the rail she was ridden under two furlongs out and hit the front with over a furlong to race. She kept on well from there, going on to score by half a length. Tamisa (20/1) kept on well to take second under Chris Hayes for John Joe Walsh while Miss Youngs (16/1) was a further length and three parts back in third under Declan McDonogh for Shay Barry. Ying Yang was sent off the 7/2 favourite and she finished fifth under Fran Berry for Johnny Feane. Liz Doyle said afterwards: "She burst a blood vessel in Tipperary but had a nice run here over seven when she didn't get out and met a bit of traffic problems. "He gave her a lovely ride. He dropped his whip and I was wondering why he wasn't hitting her but she won nicely. "She was only broken as a three-year-old so is a year-and-a-half behind everything. She's a right little filly for the future. "I don't think the rain got into the ground too much as she couldn't have won if it had." Additional reporting by Gary Carson
