Trainer/jockey Mikey O'Connor, who steered his 300th point to point winner today at Dromahane, intends running his Clonbanan Lad in the Cheltenham Bumper on Wednesday, providing the ground doesn't dry out further.

O'Connor, who partnered his landmark winner on the Robert Tyner trained Presenting Rebel in the Confined Maiden at Dromahane, said “I'm leaving tonight with Clonbanan Lad to go to Cheltenham for the Bumper on Wednesday - at the moment he runs, bur won't run if the ground dries out further.”

Clonbanan Lad is a general 20/1 chance for the Cheltenham race.
