Cihangir Just Gets There Lord Rathvinden, short-head runner-up, had already franked the form of the Patrickswell Community Council Handicap at Limerick last Monday, by winning at Tipperary on Thursday and Dermot Weld's Cihangir, fifth at Greenmount five days ago, further boosted the value of that event by landing the Roddy Business Systems Apprentice Handicap. This winning son of Fasliyev, who had raced in the colours of Kemal Kurt until this term, was getting off the mark here at the twelfth attempt. Shane Gorey gave the now Anthony Bonomo-owned four-year-old a strong drive to get him up on the line to short-head favourite, Lilly Be. Interestingly, Gra Geal Mo Chroi, third in the Limerick event, turns out at Cork tomorrow. (EM)
