Chosen Witness seals an across-the-card double for Mullins Chosen Witness galloped home resolutely in the bumper at Limerick to give Willie Mullins an across-the-card double. The five-year-old gelding dead heated for a point-to-point at Ballinaboola in February when with Colin Bowe. Jody Townend gave him the office approaching the final couple of furlongs and her mount powered clear by the furlong pole. The further he went, the better he was and he sluiced up by 10 lengths to justify 5/6 favouritism. Talk In The Park didn't go unbacked at 9/2 and took second and was 11 lengths clear of Baltray (100/1). Townend said: "That was mighty and like the fella yesterday (bumper winner Largy Hill) he is a big galloper. He surprised me how well he settled and I liked him when I went for him. He gave me a fair feeling when he quickened up and he galloped through the line. "Ciaran Murphy's horse Soldante (finished fifth) had good form and was behind Firm Footings who wasn't beaten far at Leopardstown today, so I definitely like him." Mullins also landed the bumper in Leopardstown with Ile Atlantique. Additional reporting by Tom Weekes
