Chocquinto notches up a fourth career win Chocquinto recorded her fourth career success, as she claimed the tipperaryracecourse.ie Handicap under Andrew Slattery for Hillary McLoughlin. A winner on her third start at 150/1, the daughter of Requinto has since proved that was no fluke, winning twice last season. Far from disgraced when seventh of seven in a Listed contest on at Naas earlier this month, the five-year-old came in for some market support this evening. Available at 16/1 in early shows, she eventually went off a 15/2 chance in the colours of owner/breeder Timothy Burke. Settled behind the leaders on the outer, the bay victor was ridden to challenge over a furlong from home and improved to lead with less than 200 yards to race, keeping on well from there to score by half-a-length. Moss Tucker (11/8f) got going late and finished second under Billy Lee for Ken Condon, while Jarvis (7/2) was another three-and-half-lengths back in third. Martin Ferris, McLoughlin's partner and assistant trainer, said: "She wants an easy five and ran with credit at Naas. We said we'd come here and see what would happen as there is a Listed race in Cork next week. "Tim (Bourke) also bred her and has the dam at home so he would like to get some black type. "Thanks to Andrew Hogan who let us in here a fortnight ago to work and she breezed up lovely so we were happy to come back. "We are training in Dualla which is just outside Cashel. We have 17 stables and thankfully they are all full. The horses are running well and long may it continue." Additional reporting by Alan Magee
