Punters were kept happy when 5/4 favourite Last Draw opened up his account over hurdles when landing The Visit Punchestown.com Maiden Hurdle under David Casey in the colours of the Trotters Ind. Trading Syndicate.
Winning trainer Charlie Swan was absent but David Casey stated, "He'll be a lovely horse next year when he jumps a fence. Hopefully he'll improve from that. He needs a cut in the ground. I just let him pop the last and he did it well."
