Limerick teenager Terry Casey will be hoping to follow in the path of Wesley Joyce when getting his riding career underway at the Curragh this afternoon.

Casey, like Joyce, came to racing through the Moyross Youth Academy equine programme before completing a training course at RACE, the Racing Academy and Centre of Education in Kildare town.

Joyce successfully returned last summer from 12 months on the sidelines having suffering multiple injuries in a fall at the Galway Festival in 2022.

The 5lb claiming apprentice has ridden 36 career winners to date.
