The Matthieu Palussiere trained Carolobrian (33/1 - 14/1)landed a gamble when taking the opening race, The Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden at Clonmel this evening under Davy Moran for owner Shane Lawlor.
Winning trainer Palussiere said afterwards, "That was nice for the owner, I'm delighted for him he deserved a bit of luck. We knew she would like the ground but I thought the 4 year old penalty might be against her so we were just hoping. She surprised me but surprised me in a good way. We will review our plans and see what we'll do next."
