Caffrey shines on Love Is That Love was produced with a well timed run, by Adam Caffrey, to land the spoils in the seven furlong handicap at Dundalk. The Ado McGuinness-trained gelding settled mid-division before making ground up in the straight. Caffrey switched his mount left at the furlong pole and he soon challenged, leading in the last 100 yards for a neck success over Inflection Point. The 9/1 winner was recording his first success since Listowel in September 2021 and his seventh overall since joining the yard. McGuinness was full of praise for the winning rider:- "He's a very good kid. I just want to protect his claim a little bit, those sevens will disappear on me! "He's with me since he left school and he does exactly what he is told and he uses his head as well - that is a huge factor with young lads out here. "I put the win down to himself, he gave it a great ride. He was very patient and is great value for his claim. "He (Is That Love) was in good old form and he was a little bit unlucky the last day. We just said we would drop him back and we thought this race would be great for him. "Hightimeyouwon ran a cracker (in third), he finished strong. The draw didn't help him today. He will be a nice horse in the future." (Quotes by Michael Graham)
