Jockey Tom Doyle partnered his 31st winner of the season when steering Booley Bay to win the Student Raceday April 21st Mares Hurdle at Limerick today.
The daughter of Gulland, a faller when in contention at Gowran last time out, took a keen hold and led from the third last flight, eventually staying on well for a length and a quarter win over Callherwhatulike
The win was Co Kilkenny based trainer John Clifford's second success, following on from Booley Bay's bumper success at Cork earlier in the season.
