Brontide swooped in the extended mile and two handicap at Down Royal to give Jim Bolger and Kevin Manning a double on the card.
Having taken Her Majesty's Plate with Stellar Mass Brontide delivered by two and three quarter lengths at 14/1. He was a market drifter throughout the day from 13/2.
Brontide soon raced in rear and was last halfway. He was ridden by Manning and made progress to chase the leaders in fifth with a quarter of a mile to travel.
He picked up well and forged through to lead inside the furlong marker. The race was put away as he asserted to beat Sing For Me (16/1) into second. Power Struggle (6/1) was a further three and a half lengths back in third.
Assistant trainer Ger Flynn said: "I think that would have to be a contender for ride of the month on At The Races. Three or four of them wanted to make it so he sat and pushed him along and he's just not doing a stroke and Kevin says at the top of the hill they started coming back, he has picked up and found another gear and put the race to bed.
"I think if there is something for him in Galway we might go there when he's on a roll."
Kevin Manning added: "He did it very well. He's very tough. He was off the bridle all the way."
