Better luck this time for Keane on Sheishybrid Denied a clear run until it was too late on her previous outing, Sheishybrid (3/1 co-fav) made amends in the BoyleSports Live Casino Handicap. Colin Keane, who was on board that day when the Mastercraftsman filly finished well to be third at Sligo last month, gave her plenty of light in this small field and she was travelling best from some way out. Hitting the front racing to the furlong marker, she went on to score by two and a half lengths from another of the 3/1 co-favourites, Ratib. Winning trainer Noel Meade said: "She was unlucky in Sligo, she got a couple of pounds for it even though she only finished third. "He (Colin Keane) said that is as far as she needs to go. She liked the fast ground. It probably wasn't the most competitive race in the world but it was nice to win. "There will be plenty of races for her. She'll go for another handicap and we'll see how we go and we'll see what the handicapper does. "She is bred by (starter) Joey Banahan (who sent the runners on their way by flag after the earlier stalls malfunction) and she is out of a mare that he has had. "She is related to a very fast horse that was in Hong Kong who was kind of a world champion. She is also related to The Big Orange so she has stamina as well as speed in the pedigree. We bought her half-brother just after Christmas so hopefully we have something coming along." Quotes from Michael Graham
