The feature race on today’s card, the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Brownstown Group 3 Stakes was won by the Ger Lyons trained Berg Bahn under a fine ride by Keagan Latham.
The Big Bad Bob filly took up the inside the final furlong and stayed on strongly to post a length and a quarter win over Velvet Flicker
A delighted Lyons said afterwards: “That was nice surprise, she’s a lovely filly, very honest and genuine.”
“She came out of her race at Ascot so well and her last piece of work was very good we just weren’t sure of the trip.”
“She’s a very smart filly and she won her maiden here like that, so it’s horses for courses really.”
“I’m huge fan of the sire and I’m delighted for Mrs Patino whose a big supporter of the yard.”
