Longhunter will take a ramp in trip and in class after his Listed success at the Curragh on Satu day.
Kevin Prendergast's juvenile banished two below-par efforts in Pattern company to win the six-furlong Blenheim Stakes by a short head.
His trainer is adamant there is much more to come from Longhunter when campaigned over farther, with the one-mile Beresford Stakes at the Curragh now a possibility.
"He's come back from the dead after two pretty ordinary runs," accepted the County Kildare handler.
"He came clear about a furlong out, but the runner-up (Katla) was only narrowly beaten by the Moyglare winner (Misty For Me) in a maiden so it was probably a good race.
"He'll definitely be going back up in trip now - perhaps a mile and one (furlong) might be for him.
"We need to confirm things with his owners, but he's in the Beresford and we might well be heading there with him."
