Beau Michael bounced back in great fashion when running out a convincing winner of the conditions hurdle at Naas.
Ado McGuinness' charge had pulled up at Galway just five days ago when struggling in testing conditions but was none-the-worse for that outing today.
Keith Donoghue sent his mount into the lead at the sixth and skipped clear of his field before the third last.
The 9/2 shot galloped on strongly down the straight to post a comprehensive eight-and-a-half length success.
11/4 favourite Wooly Tom came through to chase home the winner without ever looking likely to peg him back.
"Barry (Geraghty) pulled him up the other day in Galway as he never travelled on the ground. We couldn't find anything wrong with him," said McGuinness afterwards.
"He always has a bit of mucus and never scopes clean. He grubbed up after and I have to thank Barry as he didn't give him a hard race.
"He was sweet after the race so we decided to run here. He was dropping in grade.
"He's in again at Sligo on Wednesday and Leopardstown on Thursday and could run at either one if he's ok.
"He stays well and I told Keith to stretch them across the top. He gave him a super ride."
