Barack proves too strong for the field Frank Ennis' Barack at 16/1 took the mile handicap at Leopardstown by a short head from 11/2 favourite Waydownsouth. The pair pulled four lengths clear of Daring Man. Good Time Sue finished fourth in the 20-runner race. Ennis was unhappy at his four-year-old colt's handicap mark. He said: "He won today with no thanks to the handicapper who never dropped him a pound all year. "He's a game horse but is only a pony. He handles the ground well. He should be back in training next year." Several horses attracted support in the race. Riobamba was backed from 14/1 in the morning and was returned at 8/1 but finished 11th. Toraidhe was backed off course from 20/1 and went off at 12/1. He finished last.
