Bankroll bounded away in the closing stages to run out an impressive all-the-way winner in the seven-furlong handicap at Limerick.
The Andy Oliver-trained top weight was always travelling well at the head of affairs and was asked to quicken over a furlong out.
The response was immediate from the 7/2 favourite, under Chris Hayes, and he soon pulled clear of the field to post a four-and-three-quarter length victory over Landsdowne
It was 'gamble landed' for the Tyrone handler with the gelding trading as big as 14/1 this morning.
"He was disappointing last year but has fallen down the handicap," said Oliver.
"He has come to himself recently and I decided to run him fresh. I thought the track would suit.
"It was fantastic. My only real concern was that he might need the run. I'll see what the handicapper does now."
