Lisa O'Neill steered Bandra Bullet to success after hitting the front two furlongs out in the ladies' bumper at Downpatrick to upset the field at 20/1.
Trainer John McConnell remarked that the winner wasn't without talent. He said: "He's a big horse and still a big baby, but we knew he had ability. I'd love to put him away now as he's a very light horse and would probably want the ground softer." Ta Blazes finished second for Phillip Rothwell, but Willie Mullins' 7/4 favourite Lillian's Secret proved disappointing back in fourth beaten 21 lengths.
