Ballytrim s win in the Eventus Marquees Handicap Chase at Punchestown today continues, what is now an embarrassment of Punchestown Festival riches, for jockey Ruby Walsh and trainer Willie Mullins.
Ballytrim's win marks Mullins' ninth of the meeting and Walsh's seventh.
Afterwards Mullins stated "Ballytrim was the first horse beaten and was never going anywhere - however he kept grinding it out."
He added "Ballytrim isn't good enough to win at Graded level and while this race was almost his Grand National, we may now look at either the Irish or Aintree Nationals with him next season."
