BIG CLASH STILL ON AT LONGCHAMP

Aidan O`Brien`s Hemingway and Brian Meehan`s Bad As I Wanna Be remain among the acceptors for Saturday`s Prix de la Salamandre at Longchamp.

The two heavyweights were among 11 to stand their ground for the Group One contest at today`s probables stage.

O`Brien has withdrawn Black Minnaloushe and Darwin but still has five other possibles - Beckett, Bonnard, Honours List, King Charlemagne and Stone Age.

The other foreign acceptor is the Mick Channon-trained Tobougg.

The three home acceptors are Lunasalt, Crystal Castle and Wooden Doll.

Lermontov (O`Brien) and Man O`Mystery (Jeremy Noseda) are both acceptors in the Group Three Prix du Prince d`Orange on the same card.

However, Sir Mark Prescott has withdrawn Forbearing.
