Askwith held the fast finishing Trikirk to land the John Madden and Sons Handicap Hurdle at Ballinrobe at odds of 6/1.

"he is a consistant little horse and will continue to mix it over hurdles and fences" said trainer Ger keane.

"He was off for a year with a leg. He could win on the Flat as well if we could get him into a race."
