Appletreemagic ran out an easy winner of the apprentice handicap at Dundalk under a confident ride from Danny Mullins.
Pat Martin 's mare hit the front at the furlong pole and was soon in command. She eased down close home for a three-length success over Send Me Home
"We gave Pat the night off as it's his daughter's birthday! This will help the celebrations," said stable representative Bernard Caldwell.
"We fancied her a few times last year and she just got caught. Maybe age has improved her."
