The Joe Murphy-trained Istoria galloped on strongly in the closing stages to open her account in the nine-furlong maiden at Gowran Park.
Gary Carroll tracked the leaders on the 5/2 favourite before sending her into the lead at the two furlong marker.
She soon asserted and kept on strongly in the closing stages to post a length-and-a-half winning margin over Cafe Con Leche
The winner had been placed twice before today, most recently when third to the smart looking Simsir at Cork at the start of this month.
It continued a good day for her sire Camelot, who had also been responsible for the first two winners on the card.
The trainer's son and namesake said:- "She had a couple of good runs in the book but she had been frustrating. We thought she was a fairly decent filly, especially after her first run in Cork.
"She is well related and it is good to get her a win as a three year old. Black-type is the next objective now and she always went at home like it wouldn't be beyond her, that'll be the plan from now on."
