The M D O'Shea & Sons Hurdle saw Alpine Glade cause an upset when the 9/4 shot defeated the odds on favourite Sweeps Hill (2/5).
Barry Cash, who took the riding honours, sent Willie McCreery's charge to the front at the second last and the pair forged clear after the last to record a four and a half length win.
Winning trainer McCreery said afterwards: "There was nothing much for her really, she went up eight pounds after the last day."
"I thought if she ran a good race behind Sweeps Hill she might go up again and get into some of those good handicaps during the Summer."
"The ground is the key to her, she loves the quick ground and she jumps really well."
"Her target will be one of the big handicaps now, maybe something like the Galway Hurdle."
