The Fairyhouse Summer Series Handicap went to the Maurice Phelan trained Ain Jalout under Danny Mullins.
The son of Catcher In The Rye raced in mid division before eventually making his way through the field to lead inside the final furlong, recording a half length win over Our Nana Rose
Afterwards Phelan stated "Ain Jalout had bits of form which entitled him to win but nothing went right at Killarney on his last run."
He added "we left off the tongue-tie today but it made little difference to be honest. I've no plans for Ain Jalout next - he is one of four horses I have riding out at the moment."
