Ad Caelum provided John Ryan with a tonic when she scooted home in the rated novice hurdle at Limerick.

She showed a good turn of foot to come from well back to pick off Killaney King over two out.

She soon went on for David Doyle and was a comfortable winner by a length and three-quarters over the aforementioned Killaney King (4/1). Ask The Bookie was 12 lengths further back in third at 20/1.

Ad Caelum went off at 7/2 having been available at 12/1 this morning.

Trainer Ryan spoke about the loss of his stable star Lucid Dreams in Friday's Paddy Power Chase: "It was very hard to take losing Lucid Dreams and I'm heartbroken. He put his foot in a divot and broke his leg after jumping a fence and it is heartbreaking.

"I loved the 'oul horse. We brought him away and buried him at home."
