There are nine Irish-trained runners at the All-Weather Championships Finals in Newcastle this afternoon including the AMO Racing-owned pair Titanium Emperor and Valiant Force from the Adrian Murray yard.

Titanium Emperor, who cost 220,000 guineas as a yearling and is a half-brother to Group 2 winners My Prospero and My Oberon, made a big impression on his belated debut at Dundalk last month and now tackles Listed company in the BetMGM Burradon Stakes.

AMO Racing representative Ryan McElligott said, “We were delighted with him in Dundalk where he produced a really good effort for a newcomer to win a smart looking conditions race.

“He beat a filly of ours Spicy Margarita who ran quite well in a Group 3 at the Curragh last Saturday, so the form looks solid.

“It’s a hot race with the top rated 110 but he’s come on nicely from that first run and we’re hoping for a bold showing.”

Valiant Force also represents the same connections in the BetMGM All-Weather Championships Mile Handicap.

The son of Malibu Moon landed the Norfolk Stakes as a juvenile at Royal Ascot and recorded a fourth career win when stepping up to a mile for the first time at Dundalk last month.

“We tried something different with him the last day stepping up to a mile and he looked to relish it. He beat Big Gossey who came out and won the Gladness Stakes so again the form stacks up well,” said McElligott.

“He seemed very comfortable at a mile, and we know he loves synthetic surfaces.

“It’s a big ask off topweight in a quality handicap but he’s been going very well at home, and we’d like to think that he’ll represent us very well.”
