48/1 plus Dundalk double for Danny Sheehy Neyland (11/2 — 6/1 — 7/2 2nd favourite) brought up a Dundalk double for Danny Sheehy in division one of the HOLLYWOODBETS HORSE RACING AND SPORTS BETTING Handicap. Sheehy had earlier been successful aboard Big Gossey for Charles O’Brien, and the spin on Neyland was for Pat Martin. The Martin runner was held up towards the rear, and ridden she made progress on the outer a furlong and a half out. She ran on well in the final furlong to lead at the line, beating Burning Lake and Maccliff by a neck and head. “She ran a cracker here the last day. We’ve worked on trying to get her out of the gate quicker and she came out better tonight,” said Martin. “She travelled well the whole way and coming on the outside seems to suit her. I always felt she’d get there but it took a big effort on her behalf to do it. She’s very honest. “Danny gets on well with her and he’s strong. She’s a well-bred Juddmonte filly and the mile suits her well.” (AM & EM)
