A field of forty-seven horses have been declared for the Boylesports.com Grade B Handicap Hurdle (formerly the MCR Hurdle) at Leopardstown on Saturday, the 28th of January.

The Eddie Harty trained Karabak has been allotted top weight of 11-12 with his owner JP McManus responsible for six of the field.

Last year’s winning trainer Willie Mullins has seven horses declared and they are Sweet My Lord, who has been allotted 11-6, Blazing Tempo (11-0), Tawaagg (10-12) Quiscover Fontaine (10-9), Our Monty (10-0), Strain Of Fame (9-7) and Vast Consumption (9-4).

There are three possible English raiders and they are Ubi Ace (11-8) for Tim Walford, Olofi (11-5) for Tom George and the Nicky Henderson trained First In The Queue (10-13).

Make A Track (10-10) for Charlie Swan, Reizovic (10-5) for John Kiely and the Noel Meade trained duo of Formidableopponent (11-4) and Il Fenomeno (11-1) are other interesting contenders.
