Denis O'Regan brought up a 35/1 Wexford double when his mount Brave Out just clung on in the Micheal O'Murchadha Memorial Handicap Hurdle.
O'Regan had earlier triumphed for his boss, Barry Connell, on the Alan Fleming-trained Speaker Connolly in race two.
Aboard Brave Out for John Kiely, O'Regan got the 5/1 pace-setter home by a short-head from the 'finisher,' Admiral Brian
The handicapper can feel proud of his work here as nine and half lengths covered the first nine home.
"I couldn't be confident that I held on, it was very tight," was O'Regan's summation afterwards.
He added: "The front running tactics seemed to work today, he jumped well and got into a good rhythm.
"John (Kiely) said to hop out in front to see could I get him settled.
"Maybe just the changed tactics brought about a change in him. He seemed to enjoy himself, but I don't know if it'll work every day.
"He was waiting for a bit of company up the straight, if something came at him quick he might have got caught, it was hard to tell with the photo finish but thankfully he held on."
