The Gigginstown House Stud-owned and Bryan Cooper-ridden Bull Ride led them home in the Davis Civil Engineering Handicap Hurdle. Gigginstown and Cooper were doubling up after the win of Death Duty half-an-hour earlier. Bull Ride held on by a nose from stable companion Dawerann, as Robert Tyner's Concordin took the third spot, two and a quarter lengths back. Orchard Road (Elliott and Ruby Walsh) was a length off that one in fourth. "He doesn't show anything at home. We'll keep him to his own grade and he'll be okay," said Elliott. (AM & EM)
