It was three in a row for the Henry de Bromhead yard at Downpatrick as Killiney Court followed up on last year’s win in the Molson Coors Handicap Hurdle.
Hugh Morgan rode this fellow, and earlier Knockeen scorer Game Present whilst it was Rachael Blackmore that was on the other de Bromhead victor, Put The Kettle On
The treble came in at odds of about 187/1 and it was completed as Killiney Court routed them from the front, eventually with four and a quarter lengths in hand over Zoffalee
They were all of thirty one lengths clear of the third placer Shimmer And Shine
"He was good there again this year. He loves it around here and won here (in this race) last year. He just seems to come to life when he's up here and enjoys it, horses for courses," said Morgan.
"I'm grateful for the opportunity. Henry has been very good to me and supported me, so it's good to be able to reward him and thankfully I was able to do it today.
"That's my first double and my eighth winner. This is a lucky track for me as it is my third winner around here. I'll keep my head down and keep going."
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Rakhine State trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
