119/1 Dundalk treble for McGuinness There was a third winner of the session at Dundalk for Ado McGuinness, and a second for Colin Keane, when on start two for the County Dublin trainer Guanabara Bay defied top-weight in the concluding Crowne Plaza Hotel, Dundalk Handicap (division two). Like the initial McGuinness scorer, Specific Gravity (Ronan Whelan up), Guanabara Bay is owned by Sean Gallagher. Half-an-hour prior to Guanabara Bay's win, Oor Jock came out on top under Declan McDonogh for McGuinnes, and in the finale there was to be no denying Colin Keane as he got his mount, a son of Clodovil, up close home to edge Cappadocia by half a length. Keane had taken the 7.00 for his boss, Ger Lyons, on the newcomer, Tuff Love. Meanwhile Guanabara Bay was shedding his maiden tag in this six furlong event. The breakthrough was arriving on start number fifteen and he'd formerly been with Martyn Meade cross-channel. M.C. Hussey, rider of Paytheprice (GB), trained by Keith Henry Clarke, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount got upset in stalls. (GC & EM)
