101/1 Dundalk brace for Lordan Wayne Lordan doubled his Wednesday night Dundalk score in race three when triumphant aboard top-weight Ishebayorgrey in the Floodlit Friday Nights At Dundalk Handicap. The well-named Clodovil gelding won his fourth race at the venue, and his seventh overall, getting the better of Roachdale House in the last fifty yards for a half length win. Winning trainer Pat Martin stated: "He ran great the last day in a better contest, and I felt that he'd improved. He's had some physio which also helped. "He's a nice horse on this surface, and Wayne gave him a marvellous ride. "I thought he was going to have about ten stone two and in that case we would have used a claimer but it was great to have Wayne." Lordan's earlier win was on the Tommy Stack-trained debutant Tooreen Dancer at 16/1. (AM & EM)
