No less than three of them, including the favourite, Katie Do came to grief at the first in the three mile Why Not Sponsor A Race At Sligo Handicap Chase. War Of Attrition's brother, Pencilhimin made all, to add to his three hurdle successes, and credit in-form 7Ib claimer Donagh Meyler with another victory (a third since Friday).

The lightly-raced Presenting gelding crossed the line with three lengths in hand over Tooreen
Other 'money horses' in this 0 to 109 contest, Trust No One (fifth), and Shane Billy (pulled up), didn't come to expectations.
Winning trainer Norman Cassidy said: "He burst a blood vessel when favourite on his last chase run at Punchestown, and we are training him out of a field now.
"We have to be careful on what ground we run him as he needs an ease. He's a full-brother to War Of Attrition."
